במרץ 2014 יערך כנס אסטרטגיה ויזמות של ארגון ה-Strategic Management Society במלון דן בתל אביב. מלבד הכנסים האקדמיים שמתקיימים ע"י ארגון ה-SMS כל שנה, פורש הארגון את חסותו על כנסים מיוחדים בנושאי ניהול אסטרטגי ברחבי העולם, בכללם כנס זה בתל אביב שמתמקד באסטרטגיות של אתחול והקמה מחדש (Startup and Restart Strategies)

המשבר הפיננסי האחרון הותיר רבים בחיפוש אחר האסטרטגיה המתאימה – מקבלי החלטות וקובעי המדיניות מבצעים הערכות מצב ובדיקה מחודשת של דרכי פעולה להניע צמיחה, על מנת להחיות את הכלכלה מחדש.

כנס מיוחד זה יתמקד במחקרים האחרונים שנעשו על דרכי הפעולה שנוקטים יזמים, תאגידים ומדינות הממנפים שיתופי פעולה על מנת להחיות את הפעילות שלהם, ליזום צמיחה, ולהביא חדשנות לשווקים בינלאומיים.

נושא הכנס מדגיש גם את ההזדמנויות והאתגרים שעומדים מול חברות הזנק ותאגידים אשר מבקשים לעודד חדשנות, מסחור ולהגיע לשוק העולמי לאחר תקופה של נסיגה כלכלית.

ביום הראשון של הכנס (9/3/14) יערכו שלושה פאנלים (Practitioner Track) בשיתוף בכירים מהתעשייה והממשלה בישראל, בדגש על שיתופי פעולה אזוריים:

1) שורשי כשרון ויצירתיות בחברות – מרעיון למיזם עסקי – אנשים יצירתיים ומוכשרים, יחד עם מוסדות זריזים, הם מה שמניע כל יוזמה עיסקית חדשה. פאנל זה יסקור מנקודות מבט עכשוויות את התפקיד של כישרון ושל מוסדות בהנבטת חדשנות על פני מגוון רחב של תעשיות.

2) מימון והצמחת מיזמים – מהשקעות אנג'לים ועד קרנות הון סיכון – גישה למשאבים והון היא קריטית על מנת לפתח מיזם חדש, בין אם מדובר בסטארט-אפ חדשני או יוזמה תאגידית. חברי הפאנל יציגו גישות שונות למימון פרויקטים חדשניים, החל מהשקעות של אנג'לים דרך קרנות הון סיכון.

3) המיזם שעובר את הגבול – כיווני גדילה אפשריים – עושר חברתי וכלכלי מתמשך נוצר על ידי אלו שבנו ארגונים ברי קיימא שיכולים להגיע מעבר לרמה המקומית שלהם. עם זאת, מיזמים רבים שואפים להפוך ליעדים לרכישה. הפאנל יציג את נסיונם של הדוברים וראיות מהספרות וינסה לשרטט מסלולי גדילה אלטרנטיביים.

מעל 120 מאמרים אקדמיים בנושאי אסטרטגיה ויזמות יוצגו לאורך שלושת ימי הכנס (9-11/3) על ידי עשרות חוקרים מרחבי העולם שיגיעו כדי להכיר, לדון בנושאים חשובים אלו ולשתף פעולה בתחום האסטרטגיה והיזמות.

בין מארגני הכנס הם פרופ' גארי דושניצקי (London Business School), פרופ' ניראון חשאי (האוניברסיטה העברית), פרופ' דובב לביא (הטכניון) ופרופ' איתי שטרן (אוניברסיטת נורת'ווסטרן).

הכנס נערך בתמיכת האקדמיה הישראלית למדעים, אוניברסיטת תל-אביב, מרכז אספר ליזמות באוניברסיטה העברית וקרן יואינג מריון קאופמן.

Joint Academic-Practitioner Workshop
